This concept of a “devoted follower” in the New Testament was based on a devotion to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit because of the forgiveness of sins, the freedom of soul, and the soundness of mind that was experienced by people from all different backgrounds.

What is the result of devotion to Jesus?

To walk in the Spirit, we must have a balance of mind and emotion regarding our pursuit of Christ.

We don’t need to be “Super Saints” but rather “Simple Witnesses” of what He has done for us.

Tim is asking us, for our study of Acts, to consider using the phrase “the acts of the apprentices”.

Our prayer this Easter is that you would believe that Jesus is the Christ, and that you would have life in His name.

Purity of our Savior...
 His heart, His words, 
His desires are so absolutely pure. 
Pure love. Pure desire. Pure truth.

Think of following Jesus as an apprenticeship. We want to learn the system of the heavenly kingdom as practitioners with on the job training accompanied by some classroom work and reading.
