Mrs. Richards, mother of Barry Richards, had a stroke and has been moved from the hospital to Health South for rehabilitation and care. She is currently unable to use her left leg and her left arm is numb and has limited use. She is able to talk and see fine, and is frustrated that she's not able to get up and do anything. According to the doctor the recovery process will likely take months, but please continue to pray for good recovery.
Please be in prayer for Tom Chew's mother, Betty, in NJ who has cancer that has spread to her liver. She's just been put on palliative care and a DNR, and will be getting discharged to Tom's neices Monday (4/19) or Tuesday (4/20).
Teddy Anzalone was burned on his right arm and hand in a cooking accident at their home. Most of his burns are third degree. He has undergone skin graft surgery on his arm and hand. The graft was taken from his thigh. This is an extremely painful process. Teddy remains in the hospital. Please pray that he does not need additional surgery. If things continue to improve, the recovery process will be at least six months.
Joshua and Liz Reichard have moved to Twin Falls, Idaho to help launch a New Testament church in a predominantly Mormon region. Joshua was an intern with the MVC family in 2015. He and Liz ministered in Ecuador with the MVC team as well. Joshua and Liz have a daughter Eden and they are expecting their second child. They are assisting Aaron and Liz Scott with establishing the Twin Falls Community Church. This amazing family has a heart for our Lord and reaching people with the gospel. Please pray for God's power and provision as they build relationships in a new community.
Madison Day outreach is Saturday, May 1. Pray for the love of our Lord to be evident and proclaimed through the acts of service for people in Madison County. Please pray for safety, provision, and relationships to be strengthened between volunteers and recipients. Approximately 18 projects will be pursued by at least 100 plus volunteers.
